What Is SEL?
Social emotional learning (SEL) is the ability to understand and manage one’s emotions, develop strong positive relationships, and make thoughtful and responsible decisions. These foundational skills are necessary to communicate effectively, solve problems, set goals, and provide the appropriate care for oneself and others.
